Bartercard NBL
Skinny Marketing was approached by the Bartercard NBL to reinvigorate the 2011 season, develop a communication strategy to grow the database and engage with the fans. The result was a targeted email communications plan that was personalised to each fans favourite team. Skinny created NBLfan.co.nz and the Bartercard Greenzone as acquisition platforms to grow the database and capture fan's favourite teams.
The Bartercard Greenzone is a way of engaging fans at home games - fans can register at each game via QR code, sign up pad or iPhone app to win a seat in the Bartercard Greenzone. The lucky winners get court side seats and refreshments for the second half of the game. Those that enter, but do not win, receive a triggered email with a second chance draw to win four Corporate Tickets to a game of their choice.
